Sometimes you get so wrapped up into the everyday hustle and bustle that you forget to drown out the noise and focus on what really matters. I am a big believer to always find time for your child(ren). The line of communication should always stay open. Every move you make ultimately shapes their future. I personally never wanted to be an absentee mom. What’s the point of having child(ren) if you don’t spend time with them 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. So, my advice would be figure out a healthy balance. There is room for both! b a l a n c e How can we improve our balance? For many adults, balance is hard. I’m talking about actual, physical balance, on one leg, for example. While it might be true that mental/emotional/conceptual life balance is hard too, I want to talk about the body. If you already have a yoga practice, or know a bit about how yoga works, then you’ll know that working the body has a knock-on affect on the mind. The two are interlinked, and quite frankly, working the body is sometimes easier than working the mind, so why not start there? Search my blog #linkinbio for the full post on this, but here are my top tips for improving your physical balance: CONCENTRATION Physical balance requires concentration, or more accurately, focus. If you struggle with physical balance, it could be because the mind is wandering away from the act of holding you upright, and becoming distracted…hence, you fall. NON-ATTACHMENT Let go of any ‘outcome’ and just enjoy the process of practice. You’re far more likely to succeed if you stop trying so hard. DRISTI (YOUR GAZE) Linked with focussing the mind, is focussing the gaze. Anchoring your gaze (dristi) on one point will help you focus, after that soften your gaze; almost to gaze through it. This helps to relax the mind, and allow you to let go of the tension of ‘concentrating’ on the spot. FEET Press the floor away from you with all 4 corners of each foot, ensuring your weight is evenly distributed and don't forget to make your toes work for you! GLUTES & BHANDAS Your mulabhanda, combined with your glutes helps to keep the pelvis aligned and an internal ‘lifting up’ of our energy. Basically, it stops us dumping all our body weight into the leg we’re balancing on. LIFT AND BREATHE! Imagine someone has a string coming out of your sternum (breastbone) and is lifting your torso up to the sky. J'ai donné un cours collectifs mardi matin. Et après le cours, j'ai discuté avec une dame. Nous discutions des priorités de la vie, de la société actuelle qui tourne à 100 à l'heure en détruisant tout sur son passage, etc. Quand elle m'a dit qu'elle avait lu un livre avec cette phrase : "Dans la vie, il y a L'URGENT et L'IMPORTANT. Le tout est de savoir être la bonne balance entre les deux" C'est tellement vrai. Nous avons trop tendance à nous concentrer sur les choses URGENTES, si bien que nous en oublions parfois L'IMPORTANT. C'est valable pour de grandes choses de la vie comme ça l'est pour de toutes petites. "J'ai très envie de manger une crasse ce soir !" Urgent : manger une crasse. Important : une alimentation générale saine pour être en bonne santé. Bien sûr, on ne peut pas se priver de tout, tout le temps. Mais gardez en tête la balance entre les deux. Qu'ai-je mangé hier ? Que vais-je manger demain ? De quel côté je fais pencher la balance aujourd'hui ? "Je travaille énormément, je suis fatigué. Mais j'ai besoin d'argent ! Et j'en gagné beaucoup car je travaille beaucoup !" Urgent : gagner de l'argent. Important : le sommeil, la santé, se sentir bien. Rappelez vous du POURQUOI vous êtes sur terre. Pour gagner de l'argent ? Ou pour être en bonne santé et vivre bien ? Sachez mettre des priorités. Tout à une place dans la vie. Il faut se rendre compte, prendre conscience et adapter. Chaque événement à une place. La place que vous lui donner. Ne mettez pas l'important de côté ou vous regretterez un jour de ne pas avoir mis vos priorités au jon endroit. Feeling those ✨🔮Violet/Purple/Lavender 💜✨feelings today . . What do I mean by that? Feeling "purple" means I feel a strong sense of being connected to spirit/the universe/heaven, whatever you call the spiritual realm. After having a very clear message from my guides about my current "obstacles" I've been dealing with, I feel inspired by a bright violet vibration! I did a little research on purple tones and here's what I found! . . "For millennia VIOLET has been used by the Master Teachers and Healers to facilitate transmutation (ALCHEMY), for it is that part of the Light where the potential for the Spirit Self and Body Self to operate in the One Life is made manifest.VIOLET then, is the point where "Heavenly" consciousness (one and a half parts blue) and "Earthly" consciousness (one and a half parts red) meet at the 7th chakra station - aptly called "The Crown Chakra". Who is having a great summer? I sure am having a blast!
