Hey there, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. There are a few new peeps on this nifty app that I haven’t met yet, so let me just start by saying welcome and thanks for love. 🤙🏼❤️
I’ve been dubbed with the nickname Kiki by a long time friend, which you can feel free to holler across the room anytime. (“Kiki... do you love me...”) ☺️
I’m about to be 32, born and raised in the 904 (Jacksonville, Fl.) I grew up off Glengarry rd. next to the heart bridge but my family has always been a beach family. Days of sun, beach and pool swims with my grandmas house in the heart of Jax Beach. (Side note: 904 has boomed in the last 5-10 years, and it’s not common to meet a Jax native 🙆♀️). I love all things outdoors, ocean oriented, and chocolate. I’m not much of a drinker but... there’s other indulgences. 🤗
I met my hubby, who’s German, while he was on assignment here in 2009. I was maybe 21 at the time and meeting him was like a fairy tail love 💕. We moved to Germany in 2011 when I was 24. Living in Europe was amazing. We had our kids when I was 25 and 26. Yup, I know what you are thinking.
My early 20s was dedicated to love, travel and education. I’ve worked hard to become fluent in German and applied for German medical school. I ended up working toward being a yoga instructor after having Finn and while prego with Romy.
In 2015 because it’s my home town and hubby was lucky to get an assignment. This meant a lot to me. I wasn’t missing home, but I did want my kids to experience the freedom you get when you just live by the ocean and get to play in the sand.
Stefan is a Quality Engineer for the Mercedes-Benz Vans. Super smart engineer man.
I’m a yoga and surf/SUP instructor and a mom and a student. Currently I’m trying to finish my bachelors before moving back to Europe. I’m getting my Bachelors of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship at the local state college so that when I’m in Europe I can work towards a masters and get back into following a dream of becoming a doctor.
One day if possible I want to combine yoga with medicine to help people overcome pain and suffering.
Helping people has always been what drives me. (Continued in comments.)
