My boys are so lucky to have the dad they do. Not only is he the best dad these 4 boys could have (and would be a great girl dad too!!) but he is an amazing husband and partner to me.
He has fully been there since day 1. Ever since those two little lines showed up on the pee stick. In the last 10 years he has and continues to change diapers, kiss boo-boos, shushes them to sleep, blows raspberries and plays silly peek-a-boo games. He has been there to witness their first steps, their first falls and both the exciting and bitter things in between. He’s the one who has taught them how to ride a bike, swim, ski and skate. Never afraid of anything this man takes 4 boys shopping on his own, makes and feeds them breakfast, lunch and dinner, does bath and bedtime and is always there to catch someone when they fall. With patience he builds forts, works on projects and lets them use his tools. He takes them on road trips, on vacations and even camping on his own. He drives them to birthday parties and play dates, attends school field trips and school plays, and makes it to all their sporting events. They love to fish because of him. They love the outdoors because of him. They love me because of him.
My four sons are the luckiest boys on the planet to have John as their dad and I am the luckiest to get to do this parenting thing together with him. Happy Fathers Days Johnny. Enjoy a Stella today! We love and appreciate you so much.
