Today on my stories I’m sharing a vulnerable subject. I’ve talked about it a few times on here- in regards to my relationship with body and food, but specifically I wanted to talk about how okay it is to acknowledge the times you genuinely don’t feel okay. Also how it’s okay to vocalize that to others and open yourself up so others know where you stand on that day. I’ve been practicing that with my s/o and it’s as simple as: “I’m not feeling good today”. That’s all it has to be, and usually what follows is a lot of kisses and hugs. Really, that’s all I need and sometimes that’s all WE as beings need. Just to be heard and acknowledged, especially in this day of age where we only show the “good” or “sexy” parts of life.
Also, here’s my oldest kitty loving chin rubs. He teaches me how to slow down and love myself because he so effortlessly loves himself with his big ole belly hanging out and about all while honoring his sleepy signals to go pass out somewhere. Children and animals are such teachers. 🖤
