About that night: I flew to San Francisco for the @dandelionchocolate preview party at Dandelion's spectacular new 35,500 sq ft (3,298 sq m) factory, cafe, and salon, and what a phenomenal party it was!
From the seemingly endless pastry table and savory stations with delicious treats made by local chefs like @blackjetbaker , @janethebakery , @tartinebakery , and @flourandwatersf with Dandelion Chocolate, plus ganache s'mores on the roof under the lights and stars, to luscious fresh cacao fruit plucked from the trees festooning a ground floor space, everything looked and tasted amazing!
It was exciting to chat with chocolate makers like Ryan, Richard, and Eric about working with the new machinery to get the chocolate to taste the same or better, to taste Dandelion's @costaesmeraldas Ecuador chocolate with Freddy of Costa Esmeraldas, to tour the machinery with equipment genius Snooky, to hear from Greg about what's new and coming in the cacao world, and to ask Todd the origin of the beans we could dive into for photos (@mayamountain Belize and yes those are my feet if you swipe!).
