UPDATE/LONG POST I know I have been a little MIA the past couple of weeks..... since our move we/I have been working to get our kids adjusted, which has been a bit of a challenge lol. Mikey doesn’t like change and tends to act out, so we’re working with him. . : Pia doesn’t mind change, but she has new teeth coming in and has been pretty cranky because of that. Plus we’ve been getting all her services started out here. . : Needless to say..... life has been busy and I haven’t had much of an opportunity to be on SM. : But I just wanted to stop in and give you guys an update with what is going on in our world. . : I’m still using and loving Herbalife, still working out and trying to stay healthy...... However, getting to the gym on a regular basis is a bit of a challenge. Can you guys believe that there isn’t a gym in town that offers childcare? Crazy right? So one of my goals out here is to change that! Us SAHM’s need to workout and get to the gym too, but without childcare there it definitely makes it hard. 🍨Eating on Vacation🍩 . Vacations and special occasions should be times of relaxation and connecting with loved ones, but if you're so hyper focused on what you "can" and "can't" eat you're bound to stress yourself out and not enjoy yourself. Some tips that I like to use on vacation: 🍔Decide up front how strictly (if at all) I want to track, and own it. For my most recent trip I decided to take a break from tracking. 🍭Keep most meals simple, focus on protein, and drink lots of water. I generally chose one meal per day that I knew was going to be a little more calorically dense, so I would keep the rest of the day lower in fat/carbs. 🍫Plan on what "splurges" are worth it to me. Fries and pasta are not really worth it to me, so I would opt for steamed veg instead. At the same time, this ☝️ High Tea was totally worth it to me and was something that I would never do back home. I fully enjoyed it and didn't think twice about it. 🌮Stay busy. We walked A LOT and spent our time trying to see as much as we could in the time we had. Vacation should be spent focusing on the people and area you are visiting. 💕💕

⚠️ long post ⚠️ Let’s get real! - When I started this fitness journey, I had just given birth to Sophia. I had a body that I had never seen before, and was scared of what that meant for my future. I was NEVER fully confident in my body. I had NEVER fully loved it, so I wasn’t going for that. I was going for getting back into the pre-pregnancy clothes ASAP! - I started on my own, sleep deprived, and motivated to “get my body back.” So I would do workouts during nap time, I would continue to eat healthy, and I would chug along. The workouts were working! I was almost to my goal. But then something changed. Motivation wasn’t always there. So I needed to switch it up! I needed to do something that scared me enough that I COULDN’T quit on myself even when I wanted to. So I started coaching. - I figured if I SHOWED up everyday on this Instagram, I might be able to help others while helping myself. I didn’t do it for money, I didn’t do it for my family, I did it so I wouldn’t QUIT! It is WAY to easy to quit on yourself, so I set myself up for success! I set myself up for accountability! YOU are the reason I am where I am now, and I am a person that I have never seen before in my life! The truth is, I had my body, I had just never had the love for it before. 💕 - Now, I have self-love. I love my body. Sure I have moments of negativity, but I am stronger than ever and able to snap out of it. I have a community of support that has NEVER ONCE spread hate, disbelief in themselves or others, or negativity. I have been wrapped in love from the beginning. They say the quickest way to acquire self confidence is to do exactly what you’re afraid to do.😏 I used to hate being in front of the camera. Then I was ok with it, but only if I was doing a yoga pose I could hide behind. I was really uncomfortable taking any kind of picture that wasn’t yoga. Then one day I just dove into it. After a few really awkward shots in the beginning it started to come really naturally. Now taking photos like this are fun for me. I love being able to share more of my life with you without hiding behind a backbend or an inversion. Instead of feeling insecure and awkward I feel confident and proud in just being me. I realize now that all of the things that I used to think were me staying within my comfort zone was really just me walking a line a fear.
