Ive been showing up for myself lately && pardon my french..it feels fucking amazing. I made a goal to stay active with yoga, running, and upkeep with my body and you betta believe im keeping it. I started taking vitamins. I have been owning up to responsibly and working to sturdy the foundation of my life. Most importantly, Ive been forgiving and accepting what is. Ive been worrying less, without stressing if some anxiety surfaces. I notice my reactive tendencies and consciously work on softening. I make time to do what I love. I take care of my mind and my spirit as much as I do my body. I tell myself "I love you" and I mean it.
We are our own guide in this life. If we dont show up to do the work, the job will never get done. The "to-do" list will grow and collect dust until we finally make the effort to be there for ourselves. This is coming from someone who looooves to take care of everyone (except myself) but that isnt productive, for anyone. When we take care of ourselves it takes the responsibility off of others and inspires them to do the same. You feel good inside and out, that radiates. Be your own best friend, enjoy your company, and feel good in your body and mind.
