Boy oh boyyyyy.. I miss my long hair. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! I have a quick & easy recipe to help you shorten your cold or flu. Or my favourite strengthen your immune system to PREVENT it. 😃 3/4 cup dried elderberries 3 cups water 3/4 cup raw honey Optional additions: 1 cinnamon stick 1 whole star anise ¼ tsp whole cloves Place the dried elderberries and water in a medium-sized saucepan (with optional spices) on the heat. Cook on medium-high for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until thick and reduced by half. Remove and cool completely. Strain the syrup into a bowl, pressing the juice out of the berries with a wooden spoon and discarding the whole spices. Whisk in the raw honey and pour into jars. For health maintenance, enjoy 1 tablespoon per day. For assistance in recovering from a cold or flu, enjoy 1 tablespoon 3 times per day. @medicalmedium Makes: 1-2 cups Love from M ✖️✖️

Actually I’ve learnt so much more… the true meaning of hatha yoga, the effort to listen carefully, how to prepare my body wisely according to my nature before dancing, breathe consciously with my internal sound, the meaning of each part of my body, how to flow using the wind and fire, do one thing at a time, how to use my elbows as wings during the asanas and countless of other secrets from Shandor Remete and Emma Balnaves. I was reading something from someone who has cancer and they are angry about how cancer is being ‘sold’ and how they are giving it a face as to how you get it ..they feel it brings shame to those who get cancer despite not being the a typical person to get it and despite living ‘healthily’ ...they feel cancer is indiscriminate with who it decides to change the life of. There are many theory’s behind it all and it perhaps just reminds us all that there are no guarantees in life and instead of listening to what everyone else thinks makes a healthy life we must listen to our own body’s and do what feels right to us ...after all nobody else is walking in our shoes, nobody else has our heritage and our belief system is ours to own. Epigenetics is showing us nothing is set in stone, science is showing us everything id energy and metaphysics tells us thoughts become things so perhaps whilst our diet and exercise is indeed part of wellbeing ...true wellbeing is not the absence of ‘dis-ease’ but the mind,body,spirit connection and to get this right we must have a strong gut,brain connection an ability to make our mind our master not our Slave and we must have a belief system that is ours to own not one that is inherited ..because when we trust just that little bit more than we fear we notice each sliding door, we take them one at a time and we have an inbuilt instinct to know when to give without condition and when we need to feed our own heart and soul so we can stay well for longer. It’s a fine line and one many have lost sight of but putting others before ourselves is no longer a paradigm we can afford to adopt whilst connection within will ensure we stop seeking seeking distraction and we start living life as only we can and doing it well and with this we will raise future generations to be stronger than the one before naturally because we will give from a full cup. Fear, guilt,shame and resentment are big triggers of ‘dis-ease’ make sure you are not feeding the wolf within.

I have no commercial intent, so hopefully I don't get a legal letter. On Memorial Day weekend the entire #CrossFit community does #Murph , a workout named for Lt. Michael Murphy, in #honor of he and the total of 19 men who died during Operation #RedWings . This #tradition has been ongoing ever since I can remember. It's a very difficult WOD. It's known as grueling by the vets and, it scares the newbies. Plain and simple: it's a lot of #work . 1 Mile Run. 100 Pullups. 200 Pushups. 300 Squats. 1 Mile Run. It takes the average person about an hour. But, the #magic is in what happend during that hour. People work hard. Together. And this #creates new and tighter bonds among the athletes. There's an unspoken #knowledge that we all now share in something great, and we can feel good knowing we accomplished something hard together. As a unit. A collective. A team. Some of us #bleed , all of us #sweat . And during this time of work we honor those who never had the #opportunity to take off the uniform. The dead give #life to the living in this way... in how we remember them and come together to do the hard thing.
