Everyone has feelings and emotions running around their bodies all day. Sometimes, it is helpful to check in with yourself and see how many of your emotions are positive, and how many are negative. If we let those negative emotions run riot, it will create angry minds and tense bodies.✨ Your ego is your conscious mind, the part of you that you consider your "self." The negative ego finds a way to be unhappy, and it will cling to desires or the feeling of always wanting more. Unity With Yourself: In the space between your thoughts is your unity with yourself; with life. The more space that’s created, the more this unity infiltrates not only your life, but the lives of others... In each moment a decision is made unconsciously to either create a story about whatever’s going on in the Conditioned Mind or create space between your thoughts. These places are vastly different on an individual level and collective level. If the decision is to constantly create your stories, your mind will never settle and your true essence of unity will not be allowed to infiltrate your life or the lives of others. Creating a story is the decision of most people because of the ignorance of your own conditioning; it’s what your taught. There's nothing right or wrong in this, it's just what’s in place. It will take much quietness to make a different decision, with the quietness affording you an opportunity to wake up and become aware of your conditioning. When this other decision is made to create space between your thoughts it involves no conditioning at all; it’s the place of unity with ourselves. The results of this unity is what's needed to change your individual and the collective conditioning. When there’s unity with yourself we will cease fighting anything or anybody. You will not regret anything you have done in the past; you’ll be at peace. You’ll help others through the compassion of your awakened heart and self seeking will become non existent. When you are in unity (at one) with yourself, your struggles are no more because it’s the created story that causes your struggles. When there’s awareness of the space between your thoughts there’s no story and without a story it’s impossible to struggle. Multipacks can be a nightmare let’s be honest. They are cheaper maybe but when it comes to your willpower it doesn’t matter a lot of times. You buy a pack of two pastries and you know you’ll eat them both, you but a pack of 5 doughnuts and you know you eat them probably all. If things like this are you weakness, you got two choices: but the pack, eat one and freeze the rest or buy only a single one. If you know which foods are your weakness or if you’re trying to lose some fat perhaps the single option would be better as multipacks can easily destroy your caloric deficit. These foods are highly palatable and also highly eatable, let’s be honest. What’s your experience with multipacks? Multi balenia lakociniek môžu byť katastrofa že? Tieto šmakocinky ti rýchlo dôkazu vygumovať kalorický deficit a tiež ta oddialiť od cieľa ak to s nimi prehnáš. Ja som to včera vyvážila, zapila som škoricové hniezdo s proteínom 🤣 Áno mohla som si urobiť fit verziu, ale originál je originál a raz za čas si človek môže dať aj ten originál. Keď si budete dlhodobo odopierať originály a nahrádzať ich fit verziami tak raz príde obžerka taká aka hrom. To aký máte vzťah s jedlom je veľmi dôležitý. Takže raz za čas fajn... A ako ste natom vy? Another day in paradise. This morning we got more sleep. I was more alert in bed &felt roo snuffling &wriggling and managed to get him back to sleep and I had put a towel up the night before to keep it darker for longer . I had woken in the night when the moon was shining so brightly &sitting low in the sky, I could see her clearly though the window. So with a later start to the day, I ate and then got us ready to get in the car rather than hang out this morning . I thought about whether I should try hiking somewhere or doing some stretching but I didn't know where to go for hiking that was safe& off the main roads and I didn't bring my mat and had already got dressed after I'd had that thought. So I thought heading to the beach or San Juana would be good, somewhere nice to sit that is beautiful &comfortable for boobing& for Rowan to lay down.. but he fell asleep In the car within minutes so i turned back home. So he could sleep and then I could read was the plan. I bumped into the Dutch girls when I got back and they were heading to a market so we tried that instead once Rowan had woken up. Once he was awake we sat In the shade playing. I watched as one of the girls swam and sat In the sun. When I travelled on my own in the past, I never shied from the sun and loved being in water and being active . As I watched and remembered how I used to be, I then looked at Rowan and loved how things are. Sitting in the shade watching the leaves above, sway in the wind ...life is slower, I feel more engaged and present and at ease. It is a simple thing to know that In a lot of ways we realise it is always up to us how we experience a moment...I am more than satisfied with my life and the love that is shared between Rowan and I. I Loaded up the car and got Rowan in his carseat& we were ready to go. He was singing away until he fell asleep& once we arrived I just quickly transferred him into the sling where he slept for another hour. The market was terrible but I shared a coffee with the girls and talked about love and friendship. Being in a crowded space in the high heat of the day was not ideal, but Rowan slept& we just bimbled around. - continued on next photo

Ik hoor veel mensen zeggen 'Ik heb echt heel veel geduld, maar als de maat vol is dan kan ik ook echt heeeel boos worden'. Ik heb respect voor mensen die heel geduldig kunnen zijn. Maar bovenstaande is een uitspraak van schijn-geduld. Stiekem is deze persoon alle gebeurtenissen aan het opsparen van binnen. Hij zet zichzelf en zijn gevoelens steeds even opzij ten behoeve van de ander. Hij geeft hierbij geen duidelijk en adequaat signaal van zijn ongemak (vanuit zelfzorg). En als de ander dezelfde fout blijft herhalen, voelt het alsof deze misbruik maakt van zijn geduld. Dat gevoel van 'misbruiken' levert uiteindelijk een enorme explosie op 🤯, waardoor de boosheid buiten proportioneel geuit wordt. De ander ziet dit niet aankomen, aangezien er ook niet eerder is aangegeven dat er een harde grens nadert. Deze schijn-veiligheid creëert voor beiden een ongewenste en onveilige situatie. Er is geen authentieke wederkerigheid aanwezig. Die authenticiteit is namelijk niet mogelijk als iemand heeft geleerd zijn mond te houden en zijn gevoelens te slikken om maar niet over te komen als een zeurpiet. Waarschijnlijk heeft hij in het verleden negatieve ervaringen gehad met uiten van zijn behoefte en is hij beloond voor zijn geduld. Logisch, want onze omgeving houdt er wel van als we lekker makkelijk doen en we weinig onderhoud nodig hebben. Maar authentiek en wederkerig is dat natuurlijk niet. When I tell people of my work and study schedule, both currently and the one I am going to embark on next year, the common reply is: "how do you keep sane?". Being a teacher is taxing, doing a fulltime Master's is demanding, doing both seems for lots of people quite crazy. Balance is the most important thing in this. Not necessarily balance in work/study and downtime, because preparing lessons and writing essays just takes a lot of time, but mental balance. From walking in nature, spending quality time with my horse, from doing yoga and from going on adventures every once in a while. Just some time, an hour, a day, to do something different, to live life in a different gear. This weekend a yoga festival, with amazing workshops, people and just a general balancing atmosphere. I was reading something from someone who has cancer and they are angry about how cancer is being ‘sold’ and how they are giving it a face as to how you get it ..they feel it brings shame to those who get cancer despite not being the a typical person to get it and despite living ‘healthily’ ...they feel cancer is indiscriminate with who it decides to change the life of. There are many theory’s behind it all and it perhaps just reminds us all that there are no guarantees in life and instead of listening to what everyone else thinks makes a healthy life we must listen to our own body’s and do what feels right to us ...after all nobody else is walking in our shoes, nobody else has our heritage and our belief system is ours to own. Epigenetics is showing us nothing is set in stone, science is showing us everything id energy and metaphysics tells us thoughts become things so perhaps whilst our diet and exercise is indeed part of wellbeing ...true wellbeing is not the absence of ‘dis-ease’ but the mind,body,spirit connection and to get this right we must have a strong gut,brain connection an ability to make our mind our master not our Slave and we must have a belief system that is ours to own not one that is inherited ..because when we trust just that little bit more than we fear we notice each sliding door, we take them one at a time and we have an inbuilt instinct to know when to give without condition and when we need to feed our own heart and soul so we can stay well for longer. It’s a fine line and one many have lost sight of but putting others before ourselves is no longer a paradigm we can afford to adopt whilst connection within will ensure we stop seeking seeking distraction and we start living life as only we can and doing it well and with this we will raise future generations to be stronger than the one before naturally because we will give from a full cup. Fear, guilt,shame and resentment are big triggers of ‘dis-ease’ make sure you are not feeding the wolf within.

N A T U R E My fast track to calm; the images and sounds providing instant relief from the chaos or overwhelm I find myself in from time to time. Last week I took a child I’m working with on a walk to carry out the ‘Take 5’ activity to provide a break in their anxious thoughts. Noticing 5 sounds around us as we headed to the beach; birds, leaves blowing in the wind, dogs barking, crunching sand & waves were just some of the things we heard. I could feel the break in my own thoughts and could see the relaxation in the child as we chatted about our favourite sounds. I recently read in an article that those who spend more time in nature have reduced activity in a region of the brain associated with rumination, worry, or stress. And although I’ve always known my own relationship between nature and relaxation, it’s always good to back it up with science as there is a significant correlation between nature expose and reduced stress and anxiety.
