Day 5! Wild thing 👹
This, my friends, is one of my all time favorite poses. I feel like a ballerina with a wild side. 💗 Camatkarasana pose, also known as “wild thing”, is an enormous help with heart-opening. This pose is also referred to as “flipping the dog”. It is a fun, playful transition usually from downward-facing dog into a one-arm backbend.
The pose is inspirational in that it comes from a place that’s unwilling to be tamed or to conform. Like its name, Wild Thing is an expression of freedom, creativity, authenticity, and purpose. Beneath the pose’s rapturous movement is a strong, stable base that relieson both arms for lift and balance. 💪🤸♀️❤ #OpenHeartsToSummer 19 - 25 June
There are SOOO many benefits of heart opening poses! They can tone and loosen the spine, increase breathing capacity, relieve tightness in back and shoulders, increase blood circulation and stimulation of the thyroid, pineal and putuitary glands. 💗 Heart opening poses can also boost our immune system..
