Usually I head out to shoot with a vague idea or goal of a composition I've visualised, and aim to capture.
Having never tried street/urban photography before (and much less at night), I went out with no expectations. No visualised composition. No clue what settings to use. And no idea what to expect.
To me, this is half the fun of photography. Just being there, in the moment. Experiencing. Creating.
Looking back on the night's images, this cosy scene stuck out as a good representation of my mood and mindset that night.
